"Nowhere to land/finding refuge"
This work is a re-staging of the "Liquid Spine, Great Marsh" film. The creation of the live work was supported by Dean College. The dancers in this work were junior and senior dance majors at Dean College. Through this project, the students had the opportunity to embody environmental narratives, engage in a collaborative process, and utilize improvisational investigations as a means for choreographic creation.
Choreography: Katie Pustizzi, in collaboration with the dancers

In September of 2023, Liquid Spine collaborated with LS Collaborator, Lonnie Anela O'Kalani Neff Stanton, to raise money for those affected by the Maui Wildfires. In the form of a Yoga/Movement Class, we collectively raised $1016.00 for the Maui wildfires relief and rebuilding efforts. We deeply thank the 31 class participants/supporters for their engagement in the "Flow for Maui" class and fundraiser. |
